Summer Warren is a driven young professional with a Master’s Degree in Climate Change from the University of Waterloo with a concentration in environmental sustainability and emissions reductions. She brings a keen and passionate problem-solving lens to the SCV team, having been recently immersed in academia’s most recent research and trends in sustainability and climate change. She applied her analytical skills in her thesis to explore the discrepancies in observed, modelled, and projected sea level rise, and their implications on future government policy and disaster risk reduction. Prior to this, Summer completed an Honours Bachelor of Science in Physical and Environmental Geography at the University of Toronto. During her studies, she worked with Protect Our Winters Canada to develop a climate change education program for Canadian students aged 10-18, and published a report on the effectiveness of disaster risk reduction planning in Indonesia in the Waterloo Journal of Environmental Studies. She is excited to be a part of the SCV Consulting team and is looking forward to assisting in meeting clients needs.
